Dear reader,
Hope you’ve had a wonderful week+.
As you know if you’ve been following along, I’ve been focusing on two major ideas on every edition of this newsletter so far. One software career insight and one interesting personal growth idea.
I would like to experiment by spending more time on the latter. ❤️
Truthfully, I find it more interesting to write that stuff - particularly about what I’ve learnt in the past week. Nowadays that’s usually something related to philosophy, psychology, and wellbeing. I’m also changing the publish date to the weekends as that’s a more natural transition for me.
My goal is to provide you insights and experiment ideas based on what I learn, that is not changing.
Thank you for your support and hope to see you along for the ride!

Insight: We’re loved
My grandmother experienced a heart attack this week. Thankfully she’s now recovering in the ICU. I visited her yesterday, and that one hour with her changed my entire week.
When I got there she was asleep. All the numbers and beeps overwhelmed me. Seeing her like that broke my heart. Her fragility overwhelmed me. Is this it?
After some time she got up and we talked for a bit as I helped her with her lunch.
When it was time for me to leave, I told her I loved her, and she said “te adoro” back to me.
In that moment I broke down. You see, something I haven’t shared is that I hadn’t seen her in months, and I can’t remember the last time I told her I loved her. 😔 (I know…)
I was carrying all this guilt about not being a good grandson… and it turns out she still loved me despite all of my flaws and doubts.
I don’t know if you have someone in your life like this, but if you do, know that they love you. They’re there for you, waiting for you to say you love them too.
Who’s that person to you? Why don’t you call them this week and say you love them?
